A Kingdom Not of This World: Christ’s True Church and the Deception of Dispensationalism
By Brother Donato S. Powell, Sr.
A Spirit-filled reflection on how to live by faith today
🕊️Introduction: Jesus Rules a Spiritual Kingdom
Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). Yet many Christians today have been led to believe otherwise — that political nations or ethnic identities are the centerpiece of God's plan. But Scripture teaches that the Kingdom of God is spiritual, unifying, and already at work in every believer who follows Christ in faith.
This devotional calls us to return to the Word and see God's Church — not as two peoples, not as divided plans — but as one united body through Jesus Christ.
🌍 1. No Division in God’s Family

“There is neither Jew nor Greek... for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” —Galatians 3:28–29
In Christ, there is no racial or ethnic hierarchy. The wall between Jew and Gentile has been torn down (Ephesians 2:14). God's people are defined by faith, not bloodline.
📖 2. Daniel’s Prophecy: The Kingdom Has Already Come

“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed.” —Daniel 2:44
Jesus came during the Roman Empire — exactly as Daniel prophesied — and declared, “The kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15). There's no delay. The kingdom began with Christ and is growing now through the Gospel.
🧱 3. The False Divide: Dispensationalism and Zionist Deception

Modern teachings like Zionism and Dispensationalism divide God’s people into two separate plans — Israel and the Church. But Jesus never taught this. These ideologies originated from 1800s Europe and were popularized by the Scofield Bible.
Jesus declared, “My kingdom is not of this world.” We must reclaim a biblical view of God’s Church: one people, one purpose, one promise.
📜 4. History Proves Jesus Was Real — and His Kingdom Is Now
Even secular historians confirm the life and death of Jesus Christ.
Tacitus, Josephus, and others testify of His resurrection and His movement.
Christ is no myth — and His kingdom is not delayed. It is here.
🚫 5. Zionism is Not Biblical Fulfillment
The 1948 establishment of Israel was not a divine event, but a geopolitical one. Secular Zionists like Theodor Herzl didn’t even believe in the Bible. Prophecy has been misused to justify modern agendas — but God’s promises were never about politics. They were always about Jesus.
🚪 6. The Second Coming Is One Unified Event
There’s no secret rapture. The Bible describes one resurrection, one return, one people.
“The dead in Christ will rise... then we who are alive will be caught up... to meet the Lord.” —1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
All believers — Jew and Gentile — will be united when Christ returns.
🧬 7. Who Are the True Children of God?
“Not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel...” —Romans 9:6
The true children of God are not based on race or nationality — but on faith in Christ alone.
🔥 8. A Global Awakening Is Happening
God is opening the eyes of His Church. Believers around the world are questioning false doctrines and returning to Scripture. This movement isn’t anti-anyone — it’s pro-truth. And truth is found in Christ.
👑 9. One Kingdom, One People, One Lord
The Church is the fulfillment of God's promise — not a backup plan.
We are the royal priesthood, the new Jerusalem, the bride of Christ.
